The Israeli NGO ‘Im Tirtzu’ has published a recent study according to which 5,264 NGOs have failed to comply with Israeli law. Specifically, NGOs in Israel that receive donations, grants and subsidies from foreign state organizations and states must – since 2011 – report and disclose this.
5,264 NGOs – almost all belonging to the radical left and anti-Israeli aka anti-Semitic camp – have not followed these legal requirements.
The press release states: “Every organization that received foreign funding and did not report in a timely fashion could be subject to a fine up to 29,000 shekels. The total fines of all the organizations combined would amount to over 153 million shekels. For example, ‘Yesh Din’, ‘Adalah’, and ‘Peace Now’ would each be subject to fines between three and four million shekels.”
Alon Schvartzer, Head of the Research Division of Im Tirtzu, explains to Arutz Sheva: “In Israel there are NGOs that receive most of their funding from foreign governments, mainly European, as well as the United Nations and the European Union. Between 2012-2021 NGOs that are usually identified as leftist and many that are far-left groups have received more than 750 million shekels in foreign funding. These include, ‘B’Tselem,’ that received 63 million shekels, ‘Yesh Din’ and ‘Hamoked,’ that each received 50 million shekels, and, ‘Breaking the Silence,’ which has received 35 million shekels.”
The fact is that NGOs that defend Israel hardly receive any subsidies, and certainly not from other countries, most of which are in Europe, or from multinational stateorganizations such as the UN. It is not surprising that a well-financed and connected left-wing anti-Semitic NGO scene can launch anti-Semitic aka anti-zionist hate campaigns against the State of Israel and Diaspora anywhere in the world at will and almost at the push of a button.
Here the many but often hardly networked lone fighters for Israel and against anti-Semitism are in a losing position and the few pro-Israel NGOs have hardly any resources and platforms & social media worth mentioning – to mention just two deficits – which puts this NGO scene at a disadvantage. This is to the detriment of the State of Israel and the diaspora.
That is why the existing laws must finally be executed.

Die israelische NGO ‘Im Tirtzu’ hat eine aktuelle Studie veröffentlicht wonach 5.264 NGOs nicht den israelischen Gesetzen genüge geleistet haben. Konkret geht es darum, dass NGOs in Israel Spenden, Zuwendungen und Subventionen von ausländischen staatlichen Organisationen und Staaten erhalten, dies seit 2011 melden und offenlegen müssen.

Fakt ist, dass NGOs, die Israel verteidigen, kaum Subventionen erhalten und schon gar nicht aus dem meist europäischen Ausland oder von multinationalen Staatsorganisationen wie der UN. Es verwundert so wenig, dass eine sehr gut durchfinanzierte und vernetzte linke antisemitische NGO-Szene nach Belieben und quasi auf Knopfdruck antisemitische aka anti-zionistische Hasskamapgnen gegen den Staat Israel und der Diaspora an allen Orten der Welt lostreten kann.
Hier stehen die vielen aber oft kaum vernetzten Einzelkämpfer für Israel und gegen Antisemitismus auf verlorenen Posten und die wenigen pro-israelischen NGOs verfügen über kaum nennenswerte Mittel und Plattformen&Social Media – um nur zwei Defizite anzusprechen – was diese NGO-Szene in Nachteil setzt. Dies zum Schaden des Staat Israel und der Diaspora.
Darum müssen die bestehenden Gesetze endlich exekutiert werden.
