Dieses Monat gibt es dichten Reiseverkehr zum Mars. Gleich drei Staaten schicken ihre Raumschiffe zum Mars. Wenig überraschend je eines von China und den USA, aber überraschend jenes von den Vereinigten Arabischen Emiraten.
Man darf dies zu recht als eine große Leistung erachten und einmal mehr muss man fragen, wo bleibt EU-Europa? Das Rennen um den Weltraum wird augescheinlich ohne EU-Europa entschieden.
Israel bereitet derweil seinen zweiten Versuch zur Mondladung vor. Auch dies ein Meilenstein in der Raumfahrtgeschichte. Es zeigt sich, dass der Nahe Osten der Abraham-Vertäge erkannt hat, dass das Weltall die entscheidende Ressource in den nächsten 10 Jahren sein wird.
Raumfahrtindustrie und Steak am Mond
Vor dem Hintergrund der Abraham-Verträge ist es möglich, dass der Nahe Osten der Abraham-Verträge sich als Weltraummacht etablieren kann. Sowohl Kapital als auch Know-how sind vorhanden.
Israel und die VAE könnten tatsächlich eine eigenständige Raumfahrtindustrie stemmen. Ein Weltraumhafen dürfte sich problemlos einrichten lassen. Die Negev bietet sich dafür an.
Und Israels Wirtschaft ist ebenfals schon bereit für ihre Weltraummission, so beispielsweise das Unternehmen Aleph-Farms, welche Fleischfabriken auf den Mond einrichten will, wie auf Glocalist berichtet.
Mission Mars erfolgreich erreicht. EU neuerlich im Nichts.
Die Emiratische Nachrichtenagentur (WAM) schreibt: “Die Emirates Mars Mission (EMM) der VAE, die erste interplanetare Mission, die von einer arabischen Nation unternommen wurde, hat einen wichtigen Meilenstein für die Mission erreicht, als die Hope Probe am Dienstagabend um 19:42 Uhr Ortszeit in den VAE ihre Marsumlaufbahn (MOI) erreichte und damit ihre 7-monatige Reise zum Mars abschloss. Die Ankunft auf dem Roten Planeten markiert auch den 50. Jahrestag der Unionsgründung der VAE. Mit der EMM sind die VAE das erste arabische Land und das fünfte weltweit, das den Roten Planeten erreicht hat. Die EMM, die erste Mission des Landes zum Roten Planeten, soll den Mars umkreisen und die Dynamik in der Marsatmosphäre auf globaler Ebene sowie auf tages- und jahreszeitlichen Zeitskalen untersuchen. Mit Hilfe von drei wissenschaftlichen Instrumenten an Bord der Raumsonde wird EMM eine Reihe von Messungen liefern, die für ein besseres Verständnis der Zirkulation und des Wetters in der unteren und mittleren Marsatmosphäre grundlegend sind. Die Hope-Sonde wurde am 20. Juli letzten Jahres von der japanischen Raumstation Tanegashima aus gestartet.“
Sowohl Israel als auch die VAE sind global führend in der Impfung gegen Corona und bald nun auch auf dem Sprung in das Weltall und Etablierung einer Raumfahrtindustrie.
Derweil sucht EU-Europa nach seinem Impfstoff und von einer Raumfahrtindustrie und Weltraumhafen ist EU-Europa Jahhrzehnte weg. EU-Europa ist gerade einmal dabei seinen Rückstand in der Digitalisierung aufzuholen.
Statt Israel oder den VAE zu erklären, wie denn nun so Frieden zu funktionieren habe, sollte sich EU-Europa mal um sein eigenes Haus kümmern. Es brennt nämlich gerade ab.
Successful Mars mission by the United Arab Emirates. Hope’ reaches the orbit of Mars. Will the Middle East of the Abraham Accords be able to manage its own space industry?
This month there will be heavy travel to Mars. Three countries are sending their spacecraft to Mars. Not surprisingly, one each from China and the USA, but surprisingly, one from the United Arab Emirates.
This can rightly be considered a great achievement and once again one has to ask, where is EU-Europe? It seems that the space race will be decided without EU-Europe.
Meanwhile, Israel is preparing its second attempt at lunar loading. This too is a milestone in space history. It shows that the Middle East of the Abraham Accords has realised that space will be the decisive resource in the next 10 years.
Space industry and steak on the Moon
Against the background of the Abraham Accords, it is possible that the Middle East of the Abraham Accords can establish itself as a space power. Both capital and know-how are available.
Israel and the UAE could indeed manage an independent space industry. A space port should be easy to set up. The Negev lends itself to this.
And Israel’s economy is already ready for its space mission, for example the company Aleph-Farms, which wants to set up meat factories on the moon, as reported on Glocalist.

The Emirati News Agency (WAM) writes: “The UAE’s Emirates Mars Mission (EMM), the first interplanetary mission undertaken by an Arab nation, reached a major milestone for the mission when the Hope Probe reached its Mars orbit (MOI) at 19:42 local UAE time on Tuesday evening, completing its 7-month journey to Mars. The arrival on the Red Planet also marks the 50th anniversary of the UAE’s founding of the Union. With the EMM, the UAE is the first Arab country and the fifth in the world to reach the Red Planet. The EMM, the country’s first mission to the Red Planet, will orbit Mars and study the dynamics in the Martian atmosphere on a global scale as well as on daily and seasonal time scales. Using three scientific instruments on board the spacecraft, EMM will provide a series of measurements fundamental to a better understanding of circulation and weather in the lower and middle Martian atmosphere. The Hope probe was launched from Japan’s Tanegashima space station on 20 July last year.”
Both Israel and the UAE are global leaders in vaccination against Corona and soon now to leap into space and establish a space industry.
Meanwhile, EU-Europe is looking for its vaccine and EU-Europe is decades away from a space industry and space port. EU-Europe is just catching up in digitalisation.
Instead of explaining to Israel or the UAE how peace should work, EU-Europe should take care of its own house. It is burning down right now.
