Verbraucherpreisindex (März) in Israel steigt leicht um 0,6% // Consumerpriceindex Israel (March) raises 0,6%

Das Central Bureau of Statistics Israel (CBS) verlautbarte den aktuellen Verbraucherpreisindex, der sehr moderat ist vor dem Hintergrund eines sehr starken Schekels (NIS) gegenüber dem USD und Euro.

Im Detail führt das CBS in seiner Pressemitteilung weiter aus: “Der Verbraucherpreisindex (VPI) stieg im März 2021 um 0,6 % gegenüber Februar 2021. Er lag bei 100,6 Punkten im Vergleich zu 100,0 Punkten im Vormonat (Basis: Durchschnitt 2020 = 100,0 Punkte). Der VPI ohne Gemüse und Obst und der VPI ohne Wohnen sind ebenfalls um jeweils 0,6 % gestiegen und lagen bei 100,7 bzw. 100,5 Punkten. Der VPI ohne Energie stieg um 0,4 % und lag bei 100,4 Punkten.

  • Die Preise stiegen insbesondere: Bekleidung 5,8 %, Kultur und Unterhaltung 2,2 %, Verkehr 0,9 %, Möbel und Haushaltsgeräte 0,8 % und Wohnen 0,6 %.
  • Die Preise der folgenden Artikel sanken insbesondere: Gemüse und Obst 1,5 %.
  • Seit Jahresbeginn stieg der VPI um 0,8%, der VPI ohne Obst und Gemüse um 0,9%, der VPI ohne Wohnen und der VPI ohne Energie um jeweils 0,6%.
  • In den letzten 12 Monaten (März 2021 im Vergleich zu März 2020) ist der VPI um 0,2% gestiegen, der VPI ohne Obst und Gemüse und der VPI ohne Energie sind ebenfalls um jeweils 0,2% gestiegen, der VPI ohne Wohnen um 0,1%.
  • Im März 2021 stiegen der saisonbereinigte VPI und der saisonbereinigte VPI ohne Wohnen um jeweils 0,3 %, der saisonbereinigte VPI ohne Gemüse, Obst und Wohnen um 0,4 %.
  • Basierend auf den Trenddaten für den Zeitraum Dezember 2020 – März 2021 betrug die jährliche Steigerungsrate des VPI 2,1 %, die jährliche Steigerungsrate des VPI ohne Gemüse, Obst und Wohnen 2,4 % und die jährliche Steigerungsrate des VPI ohne Wohnen 1,5 %.”

The Central Bureau of Statistics Israel (CBS) announced the current consumer price index, which is very moderate against the backdrop of a very strong shekel (NIS) against the USD and euro.

In detail, the CBS continues in its press release: “The CPI increased 0.6% in March 2021 compared to February 2021. It was 100.6 points compared to 100.0 points in the previous month (base: average 2020 = 100.0 points). The CPI excluding vegetables and fruit and the CPI excluding housing have also increased 0.6% each and were 100.7 and 100.5 points, respectively. The CPI excluding energy increased 0.4% and was 100.4 points.


· Prices of the following items increased in particular: clothing 5.8%, culture and entertainment 2.2%, transport 0.9%, furniture and household equipment 0.8% and housing 0.6%.
· Prices of the following items decreased in particular: vegetables and fruit 1.5%.
· Since the start of the year the CPI increased 0.8%, the CPI excluding fruit and vegetables increased 0.9%, the CPI excluding housing and the CPI excluding energy increased 0.6% each.
· Over the past 12 months (March 2021 compared to March 2020) the CPI increased 0.2%, the CPI excluding vegetables and fruit and the CPI excluding energy have also increased 0.2% each, the CPI excluding housing increased 0.1%.
· In March 2021 the seasonally adjusted CPI and the seasonally adjusted CPI excluding housing increased 0.3%, each; the seasonally adjusted CPI excluding vegetables, fruit and housing increased 0.4%.
· Based on the trend data for the period December 2020 – March 2021, the annual pace of increase in the CPI was 2.1%, the annual pace of increase in the CPI excluding vegetables, fruit and housing was 2.4% and the annual pace of increase in the CPI excluding housing was 1.5%.”
