“Who takes responsibility for the Negev?
In recent years we have been following the wild phenomenon of building new mosque minarets throughout the Negev without permission.
We have uncovered nine such mosques in the past two years, which have systematically appeared in the area and symbolize the lawlessness and loss of governance in the region, as well as the infiltration of the Islamic movement into Bedouin society.
In the meantime… the state is dragging its feet: many appeals to law enforcement agencies have not been answered and these days several legal proceedings are underway.
Recently – we located another minaret in Seifa, the tenth in the series. Right next to the sprout base! The minaret was built quickly and illegally next to the mosque which is also illegal of course, only that the mosque was approved retrospectively in the white plan which means giving a reward to criminals, but even within its framework, the new minaret goes beyond and is clearly illegal.
Last week, we were amazed to read the answer to our request, which came from the Land Enforcement Authority: “Following the authority’s enforcement policy, we do not handle cases of this kind” and refer to the handling of the municipality of Kassifa, whose enforcement is within its area of responsibility. “Wer trägt die Verantwortung für den Negev?
In den letzten Jahren haben wir einen Wildwuchs verfolgt. Im gesamten Negev werden ohne Genehmigung neue Minarette für Moscheen gebaut werden.
In den letzten zwei Jahren haben wir neun solcher Moscheen entdeckt, die systematisch in der Gegend platziert wurden und die Gesetzlosigkeit und den Verlust der Regierungsgewalt und der Souveraenitaet in der Region sowie die Infiltration der Beduinengesellschaft durch die islamische Bewegung symbolisieren.
Und in der Zwischenzeit … der Staat zögert: Viele der Appelle an die Strafverfolgungsbehörden wurden nicht beantwortet. Aktuell laufen mehrere Gerichtsverfahren.
Vor kurzem haben wir in Seifa ein weiteres Minarett entdeckt, das zehnte in dieser Reihe. Direkt neben einer Basis!
Das Minarett wurde schnell und illegal neben der Moschee gebaut, was natürlich auch illegal ist, nur dass die Moschee im weißen Plan nachträglich genehmigt wurde, was bedeutet, dass Kriminellen eine Belohnung gegeben wird, aber selbst innerhalb dieses Rahmens geht das neue Minarett darüber hinaus und ist eindeutig illegal.
Letzte Woche waren wir erstaunt, als wir die Antwort auf unsere Anfrage lasen. Diese Antwort kam von der Land Enforcement Authority: „Gemäß der Durchsetzungspolitik der Behörde behandeln wir keine Fälle dieser Art“ und verweisen auf die Handhabung durch die Gemeinde Kassifa, deren Durchsetzung in ihren Zuständigkeitsbereich fällt. Glauben Sie, dass es passieren wird? Die Negev muss an den Staat zurückgeben werden.
