How to Apologize to the Sovereign?

What does an apology to the sovereign of Israel look like (yes, that is the citizens of this country aka ‘We, the people’)?

1. The words that should be addressed to the sovereign express insight, remorse and repentance.

2. Words such as “I ask for forgiveness”, “I apologize” are appropriate and reasonable. It is allowed to repeat them.

3. One does not assert one’s claim to power or authority over the sovereign directly or indirectly.

4. One does not make excuses and blame others (I was only asked, I only said, etc.), if he attacks the sovereign.

5. One is the servant who has made a serious mistake. What mistake? To lecture the sovereign, to question and doubt his sovereignty, even to threaten him.

6. One is at the mercy of the sovereign. He may or may not forgive. In any case, one offers one’s dishonourable discharge to the sovereign.

7. ‘We, the people’ are the sovereign. Nobody else! The state in all its segments is the servant of the sovereign. If the servant has made a mistake, he does not approach his master with the words “I have exceeded my authority…”. A sovereign must understand this as a further subordination, even a threat.
