The anger that the left-wing deep state is trying to circumvent and outsmart the law is very palpable. Clear messages must finally be sent to the deep state about who actually rules in a democracy. What is at stake? The Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee, chaired by MK Yuli Yoel Edelstein (Likud), convened on Monday for a follow-up debate on the laws dealing with UNRWA, which was held as a classified debate.

“The Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee under my leadership is working determinedly with all relevant agencies to ensure a full, genuine and significant implementation of these laws. The committee will show zero tolerance for any agency that does not fulfill the task that has been assigned to it (…) I am saying unequivocally—the law will be implemented. This is done and signed.,” said Edelstein.

It should be noted that on October 6, 2024, the committee approved two bills. The first stipulates that UNRWA will not operate any mission, will not provide any service and will not conduct any activity, either directly or indirectly, within the sovereign territory of the State of Israel.

MK Yulia Malinovsky (Yisrael Beitenu), one of the law’s sponsors: “We are moving forward with implementation of the law with full determination. I won’t allow anyone to dissipate the law. The Government of Israel must carry out the law as written, without tricks or gimmicks. I recommend that the international community understand the State of Israel’s intentions; we’re finished playing make believe.“​

The real problem in Israel is currently that the elected government is the last in chain of command. First Washington, second left deep state of Israel, third Israeli left mobs and media burning the streets of Israel and then after a while the elected government. Sad, but true, the goverenment and the Knesset has no say and last word in Israel. PM Netanyahu must dismantle in the same way as Trump dismantles actually the deep state. No warning, no talks, no deal, just dismissal.
