The Israeli NGO ‘Israeli Democracy Guard‘ has submitted a petition to the controversial High Court. The current elected president is considered controversial and, according to many NGOs and media, does not enjoy widespread trust among the population.

Nevertheless, petitions are and remain effective and useful instruments for democratic politics. The latest petition from ‘Israeli Democracy Guard’ is without a doubt significant.

It is simply about the complete disclosure of the agreement between the democratic state Israel and the Islamist terror organisation Hamas. Many see this agreement as a subjugation of Israel.
