Israel’s elites have chosen with all their might and determination to be indecisive and vague. They politically disappeared. The nation, the people of Israel, is being humiliated by its elites. And I see no new political forces on the horizon.
This Shabbat, this Saturday is a day of destiny. For Israel, the Middle East, and the World. And no decisive word from Israel’s elites.

President Donald J. Trump said unequivocally that he wants to see ALL hostages released this Saturday, the 15th of February noon. Or HELL will break out. But Israel seemingly defies and embarrasses Trump.
And Aza will come under US authority. All “Palestinians” have to leave. Aza might become US territory. Israel will then have a border with the USA. The threats of Egypt and Jordan against Trump are non-burgers.

Or, even more. Israel becomes the 51st state of the USA. Seen from today’s perspective it seems to me the best solution. Israel will as a state of the United States stay homeland and safe harbour for the Jews, but under the protection of the USA and a clear rule of law provided by the leading democracy of the world.
Today Israel can only be described with the greatest indulgence as a democratic state. In fact, the left-wing unelected elites of the deep state rule. They deformed and hijacked the legal structures of Israel.
However, Israel’s elected elite lack the courage and strength of Trump or Miles to rid themselves of the rule of the deep state. Today Israel is more similar to a socialist state from an economic, institutional, and political point of view.
Consequence: The Israeli elites are hiding and trying to walk away. No decision. It seems that Israeli elites want to obey Hamas and be satisfied with the release of three hostages instead of all hostages and by that openly defy Trump.
In the meantime, in an official statement, Hamas confirms the continued implementation of the agreement and announces that additional hostages are expected to be released on Saturday.
The political echelon of Israel is more or less silent. Only a rather weak statement by Minister of Defence Israeli Katz can be noted.

“We will open the gates of hell on Hamas if it does not release the hostages by Saturday, and the new Gaza war will be different in strength from the war before the ceasefire agreement.” declared Katz during a situational review of Israel’s borders on the 12th of February.

The statement does NOT speak of ALL hostages. The hiding started. Three or four released hostages seem for the political echelon of Israel enough. And, since then: Silence. The elected leaders of Israel leave the people in Israel in limbo.

Hours ago. The weak Israeli government under the leadership of Netanyahu and the left-wing party Likud still hold to the ceasefire although Hamas is firing rockets at Israel. Israel’s elites are surrendering step by step to Hamas. A disgrace.
Terrorists in Gaza launched a rocket from the Nusirat camp in central Gaza, but it misfired and crashed back into the camp, killing a Palestinian, wrote Open Source Intel
The IDF confirmed the severe breach of the terms of the ceasefire by the genocidal Islamic terror organisation Hamas. However, the reaction of the IDF seems rather weak.

At the moment I have the strong impression that Israel’s elites seek places to hide. I hope they will not again suddenly disappear. Me: JUST VICTORY. MAKE AZA JEWISH AGAIN and comply with Trump’s plan.
Israel has no real government and parliament. Why? They do not have the last say and they are in a precarious position. The elected elites are now in the modus of hiding and walking away. However, next week you will hear a “powerful” speech from Bibi again. Guaranteed. With no consequences and unconnected to reality. Wishful thinking. No action. As usual.
Iran seems completely off the table. We have weak elected elites. Unelected bureaucrats are overruling the elected government at their will and their lust with their lawfares.
Fun fact: All senior positions in the deep state have been filled with leftists appointed by the Likud and Netanyahu. The Likud can no longer be considered a right-wing party if it only appoints leftists to the key positions of power in the deep state.
Even more: It is no longer understandable why the Likud, led by Netanyahu, is openly opposing the only allies and the greatest military power in humanity that wants to help them. The USA led under Trump.

It should be part of good leadership to be able to explain to the people why something is happening and why something is not happening.
But as usual, the Israeli elites remain silent when the chips are down. And all the decision-makers suddenly disappear. All other issues are suddenly important, but no longer the existential ones: war, peace, death, life. The elites are leaving the citizens of Israel alone. Walk away. Disappeared.
As they disappeared on 7/10 for hours and hours. Once again. Are Israel’s elites fit enough?
