Today! To Be in the Camp of Democracy is to Be with Bibi

It’s no secret that I have a lot of criticism of Netanyahu.

BUT!! When in doubt, I always side with the elected prime minister, even if I didn’t vote for him. In the event of a conflict between the unelected left-wing elites of the deep state and the elected prime minister, I always side with the elected prime minister.

That’s how you recognize Democrats. They side with the elected PM. To Be in the Camp of Democracy is to Be with Bibi. Today. In this hour.

In the last instance, only the prime minister is empowered by the people through democratic, secret elections to act in the name of the people. No one stands above the will of the people, which the democratically elected prime minister fully embodies.

No judge, No AG, No Chief of Staff, and No director of a government agency represents the people vis-à-vis the government. Why? The government is elected by the people. There is no higher authority. No judge, no law, no one and nothing stands above the will of the people. That’s democracy. We the people.

It is not said: We the elites, We the law, we the judges or we the directors of some state agencies. The PM could lose this mandate in the next election. Maybe. I hope so.

But today and at this hour, he is our elected prime minister, who, in the name of the people, is unconditionally empowered to dismiss any official or declare war and peace. He is the supreme commander of the armed forces.

No general or member of the security establishment is authorized to criticize the prime minister, even indirectly, as supreme commander. No official, no judge stands above the people and their will as it is expressed through secret and free elections, which determine who speaks and decides in the name of the people.

Neither the head of the Shin Bet, nor any judge, nor the attorney general are elected by the people. Their mandate was given and will be taken away by the PM. Protest against this decision? Yes. But without violence, fire, or calls for civil war. No street protest annuls the election results and stands above the parliament. The Knesset and the government are empowered by the people. Not some left mobs funded by foreign funds.

We the people.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu sent today (17.03.2025) a sharp letter to the Prime Minister’s Legal Advisor, Gali Baharav-Miara, in light of the controversy regarding the end of the term of Shin Bet head Ronen Bar.

The elected PM Netanyahu wrote in the name of the people of Israel: “Your attempt to take over the government’s security judgment in times of war and under the guise of legal advice is a dangerous, first-time violation of the government’s express authority. (…) Your insinuations about suspected illegality and conflict of interest are a complete reversal of justice. Your instructions to launch a series of investigations against the Prime Minister’s people, whose purpose even the Israel Police do not understand, are an abuse of your authority and an improper practice that has become a system and whose entire purpose is to deny authority from the elected echelon.”
