I get the impression that everything has been said politically. Things repeat themselves, and news is merely a permutation.
For Israel, it’s about liberating Jewish land (Aza, Judea, Samaria, Jerusalem with the Temple Mount) from Arab Muslim occupiers, aka “Palestinians”. However, Israel is not a sovereign state anymore. Israel is micromanaged. Maybe we will see a change, but I’m not confident about it. Some say the US Administration is more pro-Israel than Israel’s elites. Maybe. There are some circles and clubs within the US Administration, but I’m not sure if they have a decisive say. It seems not.
But this is the mere result of the basic conflict: Democracy or Juristocracy. Israel must free itself from the dictatorship of the deep state. Currently, Israel resembles neither a democracy nor a Jewish state; instead, it seems more like a socialist-style Juristocracy that is opposed to Judaism, democracy and free market.
But Israel needs a proper constitution, free speech, free religious practice for Jews, a free market, and the overthrow of the deep state, which believes itself above the people and the law.
The oligarchs and the deep state are fighting for their power and dominance by any means necessary. But neither are elected. The match is therefore: ‘We, the unelected elites’ vs. ‘We, the people’. That’s it.
Either Israel’s elected government manages to implement this within a few days and establish sovereignty and the ability to govern, or it throws in the towel and applies to the US to become the 51st state. In case we see a hot or soft coup d’etat, better to leave Israel as a political refugee heading towards the USA.
I doubt Jews from Western countries will make aliyah once word gets around that Israel is neither a democratic and sovereign nor a Jewish state anymore, but rather in the stranglehold of an economic oligarchy and a deep state fighting Judaism and democracy. And this word will get around. Be sure.
