Am 10. Mai 2021 findet aufgrund der Pandemie der Israeltag zum 2.ten mal virtuell statt. Der diesjährige Israeltag ist zwei Themenschwerpunkten gewidmet: den Abraham Accords und dem Jom Jeruschalajim, der ebenfalls am 10. Mai stattfindet.
In der Ankündigung heißt es: “Das Programm wird aus einer Kombination von LIVE, wie auch vorab aufgenommenen Zoom-Beiträgen mit Gästen passend zu den Themenschwerpunkten, u.a. aus den Vereinigten Arabischen Emiraten, wie auch einem “Live”-Konzert der fantastischen Israelischen Sängerin Shai Terry, bestehen. Darüber hinaus werden wir auch in diesem Jahr einen Videozusammenschnitt mit Grüßen aus dem ganzen Netzwerk veröffentlichen. Selbstverständlich gehören zum Israeltag – egal ob virtuell oder real – auch unsere beiden bundesweiten Schirmherren – S.E. der Botschafter des Staates Israel, Jeremy Issacharoff, und der Präsident des Zentralrats der Juden in Deutschland, Dr. Josef Schuster, die dankenswerterweise auch in diesem Jahr Ihre Unterstützung wieder zugesagt haben. Erfreulicherweise wurden die Videos des 1. Virtuellen Israeltages über 10.000 mal im Netz angeschaut; ein Erfolg den wir dieses Jahr natürlich gerne toppen würden.”
Ausgerichtet wird der Verein vom gemeinnützigen Verein ‘ILI – I LIKE ISRAEL e.V.’ mit Vorstandsvorsitzenden Sacha Stawski, der für Leser von Glocalist kein Unbekannter ist.

Due to the pandemic, Israel Day will be held virtually for the 2nd time on May 10, 2021. This year’s Israel Day is dedicated to two main topics: the Abraham Accords and Yom Yerushalayim, which also takes place on May 10.
