Es ist eine einzige Niederlage für den – man kann wohl sagen bald ehemaligen – Industriestandort Deutschland.
“Die Vereinigten Arabischen Emirate (VAE) führen den globalen Mobilfunkindex als das Land mit der schnellsten Mobilfunknetzgeschwindigkeit im ersten Quartal 2021 an. Dies geht aus den neuesten Daten von Ookla hervor, einem weltweit führenden Anbieter von Testanwendungen, Daten und Analysen für Festnetz-Breitband und Mobilfunknetze.” Deutschland liegt mit 64,04 auf Platz 26.
“Mit einer Download-Geschwindigkeit von 178,52 Mbit/s im März überholte das Land Südkorea und Katar im mobilen Breitband-Speedtest. Auch im Januar und Februar lagen die VAE mit Downloadgeschwindigkeiten von 183,03 Mbit/s bzw. 177,10 Mbit/s vor den beiden Ländern.
Der Speed Test Global Index, der über 135 Länder bewertet, vergleicht monatlich Internetgeschwindigkeitsdaten aus aller Welt. Die Daten für den Index stammen aus Hunderten von Millionen von Tests, die jeden Monat von echten Nutzern des Speed Tests durchgeführt werden.

And once again, the fastest mobile network is not to be found in Germany, even though customers are being ripped off here with the highest prices, as more and more Germans feel when they have to hop through dead spots. It’s a defeat for what will soon be Germany’s former industrial base.
“The UAE leads a global mobile index as the country with the fastest mobile network speed in the first quarter of 2021, according to the latest data from Ookla, a global leader in fixed broadband and mobile network testing applications, data and analysis.
This significant achievement adds one more feather to the UAE’s cap, and comes at an opportune time with the recent declaration of 2021 as “Year of the 50th” as the nation celebrates its milestone Golden Jubilee.
With a download speed of 178.52 Mbps in March, the country overtook South Korea and Qatar in the mobile broad speedtest. The UAE also overtook both countries in January and February, with download speeds of 183.03 Mbps and 177.10 Mbps, respectively.” Germany takes place 26 with 64,04 Mbps.
