#TheMarketsTrustBibi: Classiq (Israel) collaborates with Microsoft for Quantum Software Research

And again, the markets do not shun away from Israel and Israeli companies. In the opposite. Everyday we see new collaborations, investments and orders. Public broadcasts like the Austrian ORF wrote framed and unsustained conclusions stating that the new government of Israel has a problem with Israeli companies. Fact is, that about 0,2% of the High-Tech companies made some statement and actions against the government policy. That’s irrelevant.

Classiq, based in Tel Aviv, today launched a global program for quantum software research and education, dedicated to universities and educational institutions offering Classiq’s advanced quantum computing platform and Microsoft Azure Quantum’s cloud access to quantum computers.

Classiq is the leading quantum software company, providing an end-to-end platform for designing, executing, and analyzing quantum software. Built for organizations that want to accelerate their quantum computing programs, Classiq’s patented software automatically converts high-level functional models into optimized quantum circuits for most quantum computers and cloud providers.

Customers use the Classiq platform to build software they could not create otherwise, bypassing the quantum assembly level. Due to its functional descriptive approach, Classiq also makes it easy to upskill domain experts with little quantum experience and integrate them into high-performing quantum teams. Backed by powerful investors such as HPE, HSBC, Samsung, Intesa Sanpaolo, and NTT, Classiq raised $63 million since its 2020 inception

The combined offering will be used by university professors, students, and researchers for conducting courses and carrying out research in all aspects of quantum computing.

The classiq.io/academia offering, already used by leading universities, targets two major goals:

  1. Accelerating quantum software education by providing an advanced platform for automated quantum software design and execution.
  2. Advancing quantum computing by giving researchers a scalable, robust quantum software design platform with seamless access to computation.

Classiq and Microsoft are at the forefront of quantum computing software. The companies’ quantum stack brings quantum computing software closer to the vision presented by Microsoft in its 2020 Nature paper “Quantum Programming Languages.”

Classiq’s platform is already used by leading universities in quantum computing courses and research. The high-level modeling approach gives quantum computing students and researchers freedom. This freedom allows them to program quantum computers effortlessly, visualize complex quantum circuits, and focus on designing applications instead of gate level code.

Combining Classiq and Microsoft’s quantum stack will make leading quantum computing research tools widely available. This collaboration between two quantum computing leaders will provide academic users with a seamless flow from simplifying the adoption of advanced quantum programming all the way to execution on quantum computers.
