As usual, the EU, under the leadership of Germany, sides with the anti-Semitic terrorist organisations under the cloak of “aequidistance”. The fact is that there is no and cannot be an aequidistance: here, a democracy defending itself against terrorism, there, Islamists carrying out terrorist attacks against civilians and civil structures.
Nor is the territory ‘occupied’, as the EU foolishly claims. Israel has every right to Judea, Shomron and Jerusalem, as both based on the former League of Nations mandate recognised by the UN and that Israel liberated Shomron, Judea and Jerusalem – as indivisible and sole capital of Israel, not shared with any other state – from the actual illegal occupation by the Kingdom of Jordan in a defensive war. ‘Palestine’, if at all, exists only as Jordan.
Until the time of the liberation of the Jewish homeland, the Kingdom of Jordan had made no arrangements and moves to hand over this militarily conquered territory to a people called “Palestine”. Why? Because there were no people called “Palestinians”.
Today’s notion of ‘Palestine‘ is an invention of Islamists and communists directed by Moscow and the Nazi-collaborateur Mohammed Amin al-Husseini, the Mufti of Jerusalem, and executed by an Arab Egyptian, Yassir Arafat, who finally identified himself as a “Palestinian”.So, the fight of the EU, in which the leading force is Germany, has a long history.

For reasons of documentation, Josep Borrell, on behalf of the EU, said on the 22nd of February: “Today, in Nablus, in the occupied Palestinian territory, during a military operation by the Israeli Security Forces, at least 10 Palestinians, including one minor, were killed and nearly 100 were injured.
The EU deplores the death of civilians and reiterates that the use of force must be proportionate, in full respect of international humanitarian law, and come only as a last resort when strictly unavoidable to protect life.
The EU is deeply alarmed by the spiralling violence in the West Bank. It is of utmost importance that all parties work towards restoring calm and de-escalating tensions to avoid further loss of life.
The EU strongly supports the 20 February Presidential Statement adopted by the UN Security Council, and urges all parties to fully adhere to it.“
What happened? Arutz 7 wrote: “IDF soldiers, Border Police officers, and members of the elite Yamam special forces unit took part in Wednesday morning’s operation in the Kasbah of Shechem.
Terrorists opened fire on the Israeli forces, who responded in kind. Nine terrorists were killed in the gun battle, including two who were involved in the murder of Staff Sergeant Ido Baruch by terrorists last year near the town of Shavei Shomron in Samaria.”
“Israel should *never* have to apologise for defending its citizens from terror. It is the primary duty of any sovereign nation. All who care about peace and support democracy should stand with the Jewish state!” says Arsen Ostrovsky.
