Lebanese MP Jayat Yazbek of the Lebanese Forces recently remarked that Hezbollah’s capabilities against Israel are limited. While acknowledging the potential for economic and agricultural damage, along with casualties, Yazbek warned that Israel could devastate Lebanon to an extreme degree, setting it back to the Stone Age.
However, the X-user ‘Ron M.‘ warned: “As war becomes a starker reality between Israel & Lebanon keep in mind there is another war being waged inside Israel – a nonstop war by the media, the political left, and the Biden administration to topple the government of Israel that refuses to appease Iran/Hamas/Hezbollah.“
And Seth Frantzman nailed the frustration and anger about the IDF and the so-called ‘security establishment’ aka our unelected deep state elites and the alleged “full right-wing government”: “Where were the “powerful capabilities that the enemy knows only a little about” on Oct. 7? When the Nahal Oz base was overrun and IDF women soldiers kidnapped and held in Gaza for going on more than eight and a half months, where were the “powerful capabilities that the enemy knows only a little about”? When 1,000 people were massacred, hunted down for hours at Nova festival, where were the “powerful capabilities that the enemy knows only a little about”? These kind of statements have been made for years. But 5,000 Hezbollah rockets, drones, and missiles have rained down on northern Israel, forcing the evacuation of 80,000 people. They have not been defended by the “powerful capabilities that the enemy knows only a little about.”
The background is a statement of IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Herz Halevi reflecting on the real shocking video from Hezbollah taking crucial footage deep inside Israel. IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Herzi Halevi said in response the military “possess powerful capabilities that the enemy knows only a little about.”
Where are those ‘powerful capabilities’, and why they are not yet deployed? About 2.000 slaughtered Jews, and about 150.000 Israeli citizens as refugees, and since nine months daily rockets on the North are not reason enough to deploy those ‘powerful capabilities’ (Herzi Halevi)? Our elites should stop bragging and announcing around. Just deliver. We are fed up with words.
What is asked for? Very simple. Leadership. Neutralize Lebanon and Hezbollah, make Aza, Judea, Shomron, and Jerusalem Jewish again, do not delay, and do not feed our enemies.
It’s leadership, stupid.
In the meantime, Hezbollah declared the obvious. Hezbollah declared war on Israel. Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah warns Cyprus against allowing Israel to use Its airports and bases in war with Hezbollah. He added: We will target all of Israel’s beaches, ports, and ships in the Mediterranean Sea; they should expect us in land, air, and sea.
