According to the Bank of Israel, Israel is doing very well in terms of foreign currency reserves, especially given the war that now lasted for around a year.
It would be better if the Israeli elite had found the unity and courage to wage a quick and decisive war.
So they have continued to hesitate and procrastinate and there is a lack of courageous decisions. After the IDF’s very successful attacks on Hezbollah, Hezbollah has been significantly weakened, and with it the united Iranian terror front Hamas/Hezbollah/PA under the leadership of the genocidal Mullah regime in Tehran.
But many ordinary citizens are puzzled as to why they have not attacked Beirut and Tehran long ago. Instead, they are allowing the war to continue in their own country.
Against this rather sobering background, the Bank of Israel’s current figures look good.
In the most recent press release, the Bank of Israel stated: “Israel’s foreign exchange reserves at the end of August 2024 stood at $217,377 million, an increase of $3,743 million from their level at the end of the previous month. The level of the reserves relative to GDP was 42.3 percent.“
