Israel must stay sovereign. No tax money to Google and Amazon

AI supercomputers and quantum computers (keyword: quantum supremacy) are currently technology races that will decide the future of nations. Whoever has these key technologies in his hands has secured his sovereignty to a major extent.

The unelected elites of Israel are currently (via a tender) moving crucial resources towards Google and/or Amazon. This will solidify the dependence on IMHO left-wing radical, woke companies. A dependence which will not pay off well as Israel is actually experiencing. Both companies were obviously in the camp of Biden/Harris, too.

“Google rigged the results to bury right-leaning media outlet articles.” (MRC)

Be it as it may, but not forgotten are the antisemitic blockades by anti-Israel Google employees. Although the involved employees got fired, it remains a major security breach.

Or remember in May ’24 as Google get blasted for its AI that refuses to say how many Jews were killed by the Nazis. And there are a lot more stories like that. Most recently the Simon Wiesenthal Center has even launched a campaign calling out Google’s failure to address anti-Semitism in its workplace.

The same can be said about Amazon and its founder Jeff Bezos. Remember as an Amazon’s executive wears the genocidal necklace ‘Palestine, from the river to the sea‘.

What is at stake? Amazon and Google are competing now for Israel’s first AI supercomputer project. JNS reported: “Amazon and Google are competing for a NIS 300 million ($80 million) tender to construct Israel’s first AI supercomputer, with the Israel Innovation Authority set to split the costs equally with the winning tech giant.

However, both companies failed to effectively combat anti-Semitism and a far-left agenda is obviously lurking behind them.

Background; in 2021 the US tech giants Google and Amazon Web Services won a NIS 4 billion ($1.2 billion) tender to provide cloud services to Israeli government agencies. The services will be offered out of data centres built in Israel. So, it seems not really to be a competition between Google and Amazon.

Brendan Carr, Federal Communications Commission. Senior Republican on the five-member Commission. Previously, General Counsel of the FCC, wrote: “Facebook, Google, Apple, Microsoft & others have played central roles in the censorship cartel. The Orwellian named NewsGuard along with “fact checking” groups & ad agencies helped enforce one-sided narratives. The censorship cartel must be dismantled.” (see document at end of report)

However, the actual tender (AI supercomputer) may derail, but IMHO for the wrong reasons: There seems to be going on an internal fight between the elected ones and the unelected ones about who has the hands on the budget.

JNS wrote in the same article: “(…) Globes reports that further delays can derail the project and the highly sought-after tender from the tech giants as the Prime Minister’s Office and Ministry of Finance are pushing to establish a national directorate that would shift budget management away from the Innovation Authority and its inter-ministerial forum.

In any case, the project/tender should be stopped. The rules have to be changed. A new tender is needed excluding companies with an anti-Semitic track record. It is unthinkable that after 7/10 companies come away not fighting antisemitism beyond lip services and even get rewarded. No.

Secondly, the AI supercomputer and Quantum Computer must stay in the hands of Israel in cooperation with companies which has not such a deep track record of antisemitism and anti-free speech as Google and Amazon and respect the sovereignty of Israel. If they want to stay in the race real strong projects and a heavy hand against anti-Semitism within the ranks must be shown. That does not mean installing the next DEI department. Yes, the antisemitic affair of Kamau Bobb, Diversity Chief of Google, is not forgotten.

There are alternatives. Companies like Nvidia or Elon Musk come into my mind.
