US vetoes antisemitic UN Security Council resolution. Why I am not thankful to Biden

14 countries voted in favour of the UN Security Council (UN-SC) resolution calling for a ceasefire irrespective of the fate of the hostages. Unbelievable.

Those states voting in favour of the unconditional ceasefire no matter what is happening with the hostages were four of the five permanent Security Council members: China, France, the Russian Federation and the United Kingdom.

Further, all the ten non-permanent members which were elected for two-year terms by the General Assembly: Algeria, Ecuador, Guyana, Japan, Malta, Mozambique, the Republic of Korea, Sierra Leone, Slovenia and Switzerland.

I am happy too that the Biden administration vetoed this antisemitic UN-SC resolution. But I am not thankful to Biden. Why? There are my five reasons.

First, I am thankful to our heroic warriors (not so much the left leadership. I have ambiguous feelings about the IDF elite). Second, Biden and his team understood very well and quickly that if they voted for this resolution, they give Trump a free pass to blow up the UNO by leaving this antisemitic club. Third, I think Biden is struggling not to get impeached. Fourth, there are for sure a lot of criminal cases on Biden in the drawer of Bibi. The veto seems to me more like the price of the bailout by Biden for Biden, rather than for Israel. Fifth and finally. It is a global shame which could have been avoided. If the USA wants then the USA can convince states like Japan, Slovenia or Switzerland not to vote against Israel and against the hostages. But the current administration did not want obviously to exert some influence.

Happiness is OK, what can be said against joy and happiness? Nothing. But thankfulness has to be earned.
