The costs of Islamic Terror for Europe: 180 Billion Euro

Die Rand Corporation hat in Zusammenarbeit mit der EU die Kosten und die langfristigen Folgen des Terrorismus kalkuliert – de facto des Terrors im Namen des Islam.

Ob diese Organisationen berechtigt oder nicht berechtigt sind, im Namen des Islam autoritativ zu “sprechen”, ist eine andere Fragestellung. Die Studie wurde vom EU-Parlament publiziert.

Für den Zeitraum von 2004 bis 2016 haben die Staaten der EU direkte Folgekosten durch Terror von rund 180 Milliarden zu erleiden.

Die Studienautoren betonen, dass dies eher die untere Grenze darstelle und die tatsächlichen Kosten noch weitaus höher liegen. Grund sei, dass es an zusätzlichen belastbaren Daten hier fehle.

Dies ist ein massiver volkswirtschaftlicher Schaden. Dieses Geld investiert in eine konsequente Abwehr und Neutralisierung des Terrors im Namen des Islam, hätte nicht nur Menschenleben retten können, sondern es wäre auch volkswirtschaftlich produktiv gewesen und hätte sinnvolle Sicherheitsstrukturen geschaffen.

Mithin also ein Investment in eine sichere Zukunft, die Grundlage für Innovation ist. Europa wurde so mehrfach beschädigt.

Es sind so nicht nur alleine die direkten finanziellen Schäden zu beachten, also unproduktive Vernichtung von durch die Bürger der EU erwirtschaftetem Vermögen, sondern auch die Folgewirkungen, wie diese Studie sie ausführt.

Sie hebt hervor, dass der Terror im Namen des Islam ein Klima der Angst und damit sehr viele Angststörungen, Stresssymptome und einen allgemeinen Rückzug bewirkt haben.

Auch dies sei nicht zum Vorteil für ein positives Klima für Innovation und Investition. So führt die Studie einen der negativen Mechanismen aus: Der Terror führe zu mehr Konsum und weniger Investment und es werden daher weniger Rücklagen gebildet, was sowohl negative Auswirkung auf das Pensionssystem als auch Investmentrate hat. Es entsteht eine Negativspirale.

Weiters führt die Studie aus: “More terrorist attacks are associated with lower levels of life satisfaction and happiness among the EU population. Terrorist attacks also lower EU citizens’ trust in fellow citizens, national political institutions, the legal system and the police.“

In Summe: Die EU muss endlich seine Appeasementpolitik gegenüber diesen islamischen Kräften beenden. Diese Politik schadet der Wirtschaft, dem Innovations- und Investklima, gefährdet das Pensionssystem und schafft großes humanitäres Leid.

Im Namen der Humanität müssen daher als erste Schritte, alle radikalen Moscheen in Europa sofort geschlossen und durch das Nicht-EU-Ausland finanzierte Strukturen zerschlagen werden. Das damit verbundene Personal sowie illegale Migranten gehören sofort ausgewiesen.

The Rand Corporation, in cooperation with the EU, has calculated the costs and long-term consequences of terrorism – de facto terror in the name of Islam.

Whether or not these organizations are entitled to “speak” authoritatively in the name of Islam is another question. The study was published by the EU Parliament.

For the period from 2004 to 2016, the EU states suffered direct follow-up costs of around 180 billion due to terror.

The study authors emphasize that this is more of a lower limit and that the actual costs are much higher. The reason is that there is a lack of additional reliable data.

This is a massive economic loss. This money invested in a consistent defence against and neutralization of terror in the name of Islam could not only have saved human lives, but it would also have been economically productive and would have created sensible security structures.

In other words, it is an investment in a secure future, which is the basis for innovation. Europe has been damaged in many ways.

It is not just the direct financial damage that needs to be considered, i.e. the unproductive destruction of assets earned by EU citizens, but also the subsequent effects, as this study explains.

It highlights that terror in the name of Islam has created a climate of fear and thus a great deal of anxiety disorders, stress symptoms and a general withdrawal.

This is also not beneficial for a positive climate for innovation and investment. The study explains one of the negative mechanisms: terror leads to more consumption and less investment, and therefore fewer reserves are created, which hurts both the pension system and the investment rate. A negative spiral is created.

The study also states: “More terrorist attacks are associated with lower levels of life satisfaction and happiness among the EU population. Terrorist attacks also lower EU citizens’ trust in fellow citizens, national political institutions, the legal system and the police.”

In summary: the EU must finally end its policy of appeasement towards these Islamic forces. This policy is damaging the economy, and the climate for innovation and investment, endangering the pension system and causing great humanitarian suffering.

In the name of humanity, the first steps must be to immediately close all radical mosques in Europe and dismantle structures financed by non-EU countries. The staff associated with them and illegal migrants must be deported immediately.
