The Education, Culture, and Sports Committee voted on Monday to approve the Sports Bill (Amendment—State of Israel’s Flag on Uniform of Israeli National Teams) for the first reading.
The bill proposes that an emblem with the State of Israel’s flag be affixed to the uniform of athletes in Israel’s national teams in every branch of competitive sports, and in every international event in which they represent Israel.
