Israel must leave the UN. UNRWA Office Still Open in Jerusalem.

Following today’s UN report on the situation in Aza, which I won’t elaborate on here, it can be summarized in one sentence: This report is an anti-Semitic diatribe in the tradition of the ‘Protocols of Zion.’ A fabricated lie aimed at the genocide of the Jewish people.

Now, the only thing left to do is withdraw from the anti-Semitic hate organization, the UN.

BUT: Israel’s government should finally take its legal mandate seriously, which has been unfulfilled since January 30, 2025. The Knesset has voted that UNRWA must be removed from Israel. It should be closed.

This followed the Israeli Knesset’s passage of laws in October 2024 that prohibit UNRWA from operating in areas under Israeli control and bar Israeli officials from contacting the agency. The legislation required UNRWA to cease operations and vacate its premises in Jerusalem by January 30, 2025.

But the reality is different, which is an unprecedented scandal. The ‘deep state’ simply refuses to enforce this law. Indeed, even a direct request from the Prime Minister has been ignored.

The UNRWA office in Jerusalem is still operating, electricity is supplied, the bank accounts are active, and the building is considered occupied by Fatah. That in Jerusalem. The failure of the current government could hardly be greater.

On February 18, 2025, Israeli forces raided the Kalandia Training Centre and ordered the closure of three UNRWA schools in East Jerusalem, affecting around 600 students.

While two schools reportedly defied the closure order and continued operating, the raids indicate active enforcement of the ban. Additionally, plans have been reported to seize the land of UNRWA’s Jerusalem headquarters for settler housing, though it’s unclear if this has been executed by today.

Israel must finally take itself seriously and implement its decisions in Israel. Otherwise, Israel will remain a laughing stock, as the elected government has no authority whatsoever.
