The Media Conspiracy against Israel. Update (7.04.2026)

Since the original publication of this article (The Media Conscpiracy against Israel, August 2025), a great deal has happened that further confirms and deepens the patterns of systemic anti-Israel bias in Western mainstream media coverage of the Israel-Hamas war. Read first what happened in August 2025 and then the follow up, the update.

The Media Conspiracy August 2025

The Jewish Onliner published an hour ago documents which underpin a conspiracy seen and assumed by many. The antisemitic conspiracy against the Jewish and democratic state of Israel.

About 150 media outlets staged an anti-Israel campaign coordinated by NGOs, as leaked docs show.

“The campaign, orchestrated by Reporters Without Borders (RSF) and advocacy group Avaaz, involves approximately 150 media outlets across 50 countries in what organizers describe as a “world-first” coordinated newsroom action. According to the Hamas-tied Palestinian Information Center, outlets that signed on include: “Al Jazeera, The Independent, +972, Local Call, The Intercept, Mediapart, L’Humanité, Forbidden Stories, il Fatto Quotidiano, El País, RTVE, Daraj, Mada Masr, Le Desk, and L’Orient-Le Jour (Lebanon), along with numerous outlets across Europe, Latin America, Africa, and Asia,” wrote Jewish Onliner.

Only recently, the IDF clearly exposed the “journalist lie.” All so-called “journalists” were actually Hamas terrorists disguised as journalists. It’s sad that the “legacy media” are playing along and trying to lend legitimacy to this charade.

In the meantime, the Israeli Ministry for Foreign Affairs called those media and their campaign against Israel out: “When 150 media outlets choose in a synchronized manner to stop reporting news, to throw values of the press and plurality of opinions into the trash, and instead publish a uniform, pre-scripted political manifesto against Israel – that tells you how great the bias against Israel is in the global media. The reports we see in the global media regarding Gaza do not tell the real story there. They tell the campaign of lies that Hamas spreads. This is not journalism. This is politics.”, posted the Ministry on X.

The NGO ‘Stop Antisemitism‘ summarised on X: “Avaaz & RSF are not defending press independence, they’re manufactured agents for Palestinian statehood. The PR jihadis have one unified key message: “At the rate journalists are being killed in Gaza by the Israeli army, there will soon be no one left to keep you informed.” Their lies include: – 210 journalists have been killed by the Israeli military (countless are actual Hamas operatives) – Israel has blocked foreign journalist access to Gaza for 23 months (not true, dozens of reporters have been in Gaza) – Local reporters “face constant threats to their lives” … YES! From Hamas and other Palestinian terrorists.”

UPDATE (7th of April 2026)

Several major quantitative studies and analyses published between October 2025 and early 2026 have provided additional empirical evidence of consistent distortions, selective framing, disproportionate scrutiny of Israel, and the marginalization of Israeli perspectives and suffering.

One of the most detailed examinations came in November 2025 with CAMERA’s comprehensive analysis of over 2,500 BBC News headlines related to the Israel-Gaza war and its political fallout. The study found that BBC headlines were three times more likely to hold Israel to account than Hamas, with approximately 35% of headlines being critical of Israel compared to only 11% critical of Hamas. This pattern persisted over a two-year period and highlighted a clear editorial slant in how the conflict was framed for the public.

Another significant contribution was the July 2025 HonestReporting study “Behind the Headlines” which, together with follow-up briefings in late 2025 and early 2026, documented ongoing issues such as the disproportionate emphasis on Palestinian casualties, the frequent omission of crucial context regarding Hamas’s use of civilian infrastructure, and the repeated reliance on unverified or Hamas-sourced casualty figures without adequate scrutiny.

These studies pointed to recurring patterns: greater individualization and humanization of Palestinian victims, heavier use of emotionally charged language when describing Israeli actions, and a tendency to present Israeli self-defense measures as the primary driver of civilian harm while downplaying even neglecting Hamas’s responsibility, tactics and overall war aim: To annihilate the Jewish people: Genocide.

Taken together, these developments since August 2025 reinforce the core argument of the original article: large segments of Western legacy media have not only failed to provide balanced coverage but have actively contributed to a distorted narrative that only burdens Israel with moral and factual scrutiny while denying accountability for the islamic/genocidal Hamas and its allies like Qatar, Turkey, the Mullah regime or Egypt.

The bias against Israel and freedom has proven remarkably persistent, even as new phases of the conflict (including ceasefire negotiations and regional escalations) unfolded. The media battlefield remains one of the most contested arenas of the war — and the evidence continues to mount that it is far from neutral. The legacy media are standing with the islamic/genocidal occupational forces against Israel.
