As reported days ago, Israel’s national economic data is performing better and better. Analysts are already saying that the strongest currency in the world is now the NIS (New Israeli Shekel).
Today (19 November), for the first time, the US dollar was quoted against the NIS at a ratio of about 1:3 (exactly: 1 US dollar for 3.0790 NIS), according to the Bank of Israel.
The Israeli Ministry of Finance revised the expected GDP growth: instead of about 5.5%, 7.1% is expected by the end of the year. The inflation rate for October is around 2.8%.
On top of these very good key data, the Bank of Israel reports astronomically high foreign currency reserves, as GLOBES reports: “Israel’s foreign exchange reserves have (…) risen to a record USD 217 billion, (…). The reserves are now far above the target of $110 million set by the Bank of Israel. The reserves are an emergency stockpile of foreign currency in the event of a crisis, such as war.“
Against the background of the ‘Awraham contracts’, which are having more and more positive effects, it is now time that the rather dilapidated infrastructure is finally rehabilitated, consumer prices are reduced, the cartel-like behaviour of some players is vigorously combated and more is done to protect the environment.
In the matter of the pandemic, Israel is once again proving to be a role model. And in other areas, too, Israel is a role model or plays a leading role: Israel has the highest per capita density of successful start-ups and ‘unicorns‘ – private companies with a company valuation of more than 1 billion USD – and is in the same league as the USA in the field of science & start-up ecosystems.
Perhaps EU-Europe, led by Germany – which is massively destabilising Europe by reaching out to anti-Israeli dictators like Lukashenko and Erdogan and blithely allowing themselves to be blackmailed by them – would do better to learn from and co-operate with Israel instead of continuing to obstruct against Israel and fund terrorist organisations seeking to destroy Israel.
The possibilities of an EU – Israel co-operation would be very great for mutual benefit, but EU-Europe and especially Germany has to stop lecture Israel. Germany does definitivly not stand on higher moral grounds or any higher grounds than Israel. Unfortunately, Germany still believes that it can act – for example – over the heads of Poland or Israel and make demands that affect their state sovereignty. In case of Poland, borders are questioned, in case of Israel the capital.; and borders too.
What does Germany’s political bureaucracy actually believe? How dare this political bureaucracy to mock and disrespect democratic states in such a way? The German ‘Basic Law’ (Grundgesetz) does not apply to the world and the German office does not rule the world.
Many of the small EU states also no longer want this continued paternalism by Germany. The EU can also implode like the USSR once did. From Vienna to Warsaw to Athens, people seem to be aware of this and one can already sense the preparations for a plan B: re-founding the EU without Germany.
And Israel shows that it is possible to perform very well even as a small state surrounded by hostile terrorist organisations and in a permanent state of war. What excuse does the EU have?

Wie schon vor Tagen berichtet, performen die nationalen ökonomischen Eckdaten Israels immer besser. Analysten sprechen bereits davon, dass die nunmehr stärkste Währung der Welt der NIS (Neue Israelische Schekel) sei.
Heute (19.11.) notierte zum ersten Mal der US-Dollar zum NIS in einem Verhältnis von rund 1:3 (exakt: 1 US-Dollar für 3,0790 NIS)., so die Bank of Israel. Das israelische Finanzministerium hat das zu erwartende Wachstum des BIP kassiert: Statt rund 5,5% erwarte man mit Ende des Jahres 7,1%. Die Inflationsrate liegt für Oktober bei rund 2,8%.
Zu diesen sehr guten Haupteckdaten vermeldet die Bank of Israel eine astronomisch hohe Fremdwährungsreserve, wie GLOBES berichtet, aufweist: “Die Devisenreserven Israels sind (…) auf einen Rekordwert von 217 Mrd. USD gestiegen, (…). Die Reserven liegen nun weit über dem von der Bank of Israel gesetzten Ziel von 110 Millionen Dollar. Bei den Reserven handelt es sich um einen Notvorrat an Devisen für den Fall einer Krise, z. B. eines Krieges.“.
Vor dem Hintergrund der sich mehr und mehr positiv auswirkenden ‘Awraham-Verträge’ wird es an der Zeit, dass endlich die doch eher marode Infrastruktur saniert, die Verbraucherpreise gesenkt, gegen das kartellhafte Verhalten einiger Akteure energisch vorgegangen und mehr für den Schutz der Umwelt getan wird.
In Sachen Pandemie erweist sich Israel einmal mehr als Vorbild. Und auch in anderen Bereichen ist Israel Vorbild bzw spielt ganz vorne mit: So weist Israel die höchste Pro-Kopf Dichte von erfolgreichen Start-ups und ‘Unicorns‘ – private Unternehmen mit einer Unternehmensbewertung höher als 1 Milliarde USD – auf und ist im Bereich Wissenschaft&Start-up Ecosystems in einer Liga mit den USA.
Vielleicht sollte EU-Europa unter Führung Deutschlands – das gerade Europa massiv destabilisiert, indem es anti-israelischen Diktatoren wie Lukaschenko und Erdogan die Hand reicht und sich munter von diesen erpressen läßt – besser von Israel lernen und kooperieren, statt fortgesetzt gegen Israel zu obstruieren und Terrororganisationen zu finanzieren.
Die Möglichkeiten einer Zusammenarbeit zwischen der EU und Israel wären zum beiderseitigen Nutzen sehr groß, aber EU-Europa und insbesondere Deutschland müssen aufhören, Israel zu belehren.
Deutschland steht definitiv nicht auf einer höheren moralischen Ebene oder auf irgendeiner Ebene höher als Israel. Leider glaubt Deutschland beispielsweise nach wie vor über die Köpfe von Polen oder eben Israel hinweg agieren und Forderungen, die die staatliche Souveränität berühen, stellen zu dürfen.
Da (Polen) werden Grenzen in Frage gestellt, dort (Israel) die Hauptstadt und Grenzen. Was glaubt Deutschlands Politbürokratie eigentlich? Wie kann es diese Politbürokratie es wagen, demokratische Staaten derart zu düpieren und zu mißachten? Das deutsche Grundgesetzt und die deutsche Amststube regieren nicht die Welt.
Viele der kleinen EU-Staaten wollen auch nicht mehr diese fortgesetzte Bevormundung durch Deutschland. Auch die EU kann implodieren wie einst die UdSSR. In Wien bis Warschau bis Athen scheint man sich dessen bewußt sein und man spürt bereits die Vorbereitungen für einen Plan B: Neugründung der EU ohne Deutschland.
Und Israel zeigt, man kann auch als kleiner Staat umringt von feindlichen Terrororganisationen und im permanenten Kriegszustand sehr gut performen. Welche Ausrede hat die EU?
