Das Startup CleanCoin aus Israel hat eine einfache wie ansprechende Lösung gefunden: Gemeinsam Müll sammeln und damit Geld verdienen. Eine Mischung aus Gamification und den Prinzipien des Crowdfundings.
Die App ist vorerst nur in Israel verfügbar und läuft im Betamodus. Die Gründer erklären das Modell auf ihrer Website: “Über unsere App bringen wir Tausende von Nutzern zusammen und helfen jedem Einzelnen, seinen Beitrag zu leisten, indem er den Müll kartiert, sammelt, sortiert oder zu Recyclingzentren bringt. Wenn du fertig bist, wählst du deine Belohnung aus – entweder Bargeld, Rabatte in Geschäften oder eine Spende für eine wohltätige Organisation.” Man hat dann die Wahl.
Nach Angaben der Gründer sollen schon rund 20.000 Menschen die App gedownloadet haben.

The start-up CleanCoin from Israel has found a simple and appealing solution: Collect rubbish together and earn money with it. A mixture of gamification and the principles of crowdfunding.
The app is only available in Israel for now and is running in beta mode. The founders explain the model on their website: “Through our app, we bring together thousands of users and help everyone contribute by mapping, collecting, sorting or taking rubbish to recycling centres. When you’re done, you choose your reward – either cash, discounts at shops or a donation to charity.” You then have a choice.
According to the founders, around 20,000 people have already downloaded the app.
