PitchBook delivers each year their various rankings of Universities worldwide and the Tel Aviv University has always a safe place under the Top 10.
This year the Tel Aviv University reached the whooping 7th place in global entrepreneurship ranking. And, not enough, TAU is the only non-US-University under the TOP 10. With other words: USA and Israel are playing in their own league.
Prof. Moshe Zviran, Head of Entrepreneurship and Innovation at TAU: “TAU continues to establish itself as Israel’s main entrepreneurial university and a world leader in producing entrepreneurs who found companies, raise venture capital, and boost Israel’s economy. TAU’s climb to 7th place in the PitchBook rankings is one more indicator of the high quality of our alumni, as well as the contribution of the entrepreneurial ecosystem on campus that proactively promotes this approach among both students and faculty.“
And if we look at the Top 20, you will find the TECHNION (Haifa) on place 15, but still no university from outside of the USA. Further you find the Hebrew University (31, Jerusalem), Reichman University (38, Herzliya) and Ben Gurion University (45, Ber Sheva) and still the only non-USA universities. Only at place 47 you find the first non-Israel, non-US university: University of Oxford.
Prof. Ariel Porat, President of TAU: “The credit for this enormous success goes to our alumni, first and foremost, but TAU also does its best to instill a spirit of entrepreneurship and innovation in its students. It is no coincidence that we have a superb Entrepreneurship Center on campus, expected to grow even further in the next few years, and to equip TAU students from the exact sciences, the social sciences, and the humanities with the tools and motivation that are so essential for entrepreneurial endeavors in all areas, both technological and social.”

PitchBook liefert jedes Jahr ihre verschiedenen Rankings von Universitäten weltweit und die Tel Aviv University hat immer einen sicheren Platz unter den Top 10.

Und wenn wir uns die Top 20 anschauen, findet man auf Platz 15 das TECHNION (Haifa), aber immer noch keine Universität außerhalb der USA.
