New analysis documents hundreds of errors and systematic distortions, you may also name it ‘lies’ and ‘fake facts’, about Israel fabricated by ‘Human Rights Watch’. The so-called “NGO” fabricates – like Amnesty International – the false claim aka lie that Israel is an apartheid state.
A new analysis released today by Jerusalem-based research institute NGO Monitor shows fundamental flaws, lies, distortions, omissions, and blatant double standards in ‘Human Rights Watch’’s (HRW) April 2021 publication accusing Israel of the crimes of “apartheid” and “persecution.”
A careful examination of the text uncovered 303 total flaws: 105 errors, 136 misrepresentations, 37 omissions, and 25 double standards – creating a fictional narrative meant to demonize Israel. The analysis show that HRW conducted almost no primary research on the subject and cited very few primary documents, states the press release by NGO Monitor.
Following the press release: In this document, HRW repeats the claim that Israel, by definition, is an apartheid state, including within the pre-1967 “borders” (means armistice line, which is not an internationally recognized border). As reflected by the report’s narrative and recommendations, HRW’s goal is clear: to end the existence of Israel as the nation-state of the Jewish people.
Examining a lengthy publication with 867 footnotes was a time-consuming process. Among the most notable weaknesses is HRW’s extensive reliance on the claims of other NGOs and self-declared human rights organizations, comprising more than half of the total body of evidence.
HRW also cites itself approximately 175 times – 20% of all citations; B’Tselem about 70 times; and 20-40 times each from Peace Now, Adalah, Gisha, Ir Amim, and HaMoked – all politicized NGOs active in the anti-Israel “apartheid” campaign.
NGO Monitor President Gerald Steinberg noted: “This detailed analysis is a powerful rebuke to all those who gave HRW’s pseudo-report credibility. It highlights over 20 years of empty accusations against Israel under the façade of human rights reporting. The page-by-page exposé strips away the ‘halo effect’ that has enabled HRW to avoid independent scrutiny for far too long.”
Von VonNaftali randomly checked five errors and came to the same conclusion as the NGO Monitor report: HRW’s allegations are false and fabricated. The following factual claims by HRW, which turned out to be false after being checked by NGO Monitor and VonNaftali are: Error 18 (water supply), Error 64 (false quote is attributed to Ben Gurion), Error 86 (false quote from Netanyahu), Error 99 ( Israel has a policy of segregation) and finally error 248 (Arab schools are overcrowded).

Die sogenannte „NGO“ konstruiert – wie Amnesty International – die falsche Behauptung alias Lüge, Israel sei ein Apartheidstaat.
Eine neue Analyse, die heute vom in Jerusalem ansässigen Forschungsinstitut NGO Monitor veröffentlicht wurde, zeigt grundlegende Mängel, Lügen, Verzerrungen, Auslassungen und offensichtliche Doppelmoral in der Veröffentlichung von „Human Rights Watch“ (HRW) vom April 2021, in der Israel der Verbrechen der „Apartheid“ beschuldigt wird.
Eine sorgfältige Prüfung des Textes deckte insgesamt 303 Mängel auf: 105 Fehler, 136 falsche Darstellungen, 37 Auslassungen und 25 Fälle von Anwendung von doppelten Standards. Damit wird eine Fiktion geschaffen, die darauf abzielte, Israel zu dämonisieren.

Von VonNaftali hat stichprobenmäßig fünf Fehler überprüft und gelangt zu denselben Ergebnis wie der Bericht von NGO Monitor. Die Vorwürfe von HRW sind falsch und konstruiert. Überprüft wurden folgende Tatsachenbehauptungen von HRW, die sich nach Überprüfung durch NGO Monitor und VonNaftali als falsch herausgestellt haben: Fehler 18 (Wasserversorgung), Fehler 64 (Ben Gurion wird falsches Zitat unterschoben), Fehler 86 (Fälschung Zitat von Netanjahu), Fehler 99 (Israel führe eine Politikder Segregation) und schließlich Fehler 248 (arabische Schulen seien überbelegt).
Der Bericht von NGO Monitor stellt so auch ein wertvolles Arbeitsinstrument dar, um die wichtigsten Lügen über Israel zu widerlegen.
