Enlight Renewable Energy, also nicknamed ‘Enlight’, based in was founded in 2008 and its headquarter is in Rosh Ha’ayin (Israel). The company is traded on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange since 2010 (TASE: ENLT), Enlight Renewable Energy develops, finances, constructs, owns and operates utility-sale renewable energy projects.
Enlight operates across the three largest renewable segments today: solar, wind and energy storage. As a global platform, Enlight operates in the United States, Israel and 9 European countries.
So, Enlight has a story of success and have products and revenues. It is reasonable that the IPO started today at the NASDAQ (New York, USA) will be another huge access for an Israeli company.
In the press release it is explained: “(Enlight) announced today the pricing of its initial public offering of 14,000,000 ordinary shares at a price to the public of $18.00 per share. In addition, Enlight has granted the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 2,100,000 ordinary shares at the initial public offering price, less underwriting discounts and commissions.
The ordinary shares are expected to begin trading on the Nasdaq Global Select Market on Friday, February 10, 2023 under the ticker symbol “ENLT.” Enlight’s ordinary shares currently trade on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange under the symbol “ENLT.” The offering is expected to close on February 14, 2023, subject to the satisfaction of customary closing conditions.
J.P. Morgan, BofA Securities and Barclays are acting as lead book-running managers for the offering. Credit Suisse, Wolfe | Nomura Alliance and HSBC are acting as book-running managers, and Roth Capital Partners is acting as co-manager for the offering.”
By the way, of course there is no shunning away from global investors or companies: J.P. Morgan, who allegedly warns about investment in Israel, is on board too. So, where is the distrust of the markets against Israeli companies? A distrust which J.P. Morgan was trying to fuel too. It’s just ideologically, vain manoeuvres.
After shabbat we will know, if Enlight succeeded.
