Straight from the Negev (Israel) the start-up ‘AKOlogic‘ (est. 2019; Sha’ar) seeks to disrupt the tracking of food by deploying artificial intelligence (AI). The claim minted by CEO Ron Shani is: All crop data in one click!
In own words by AKOlogic: “AKOLogic levels up the agribusiness supply chain through an industry-first MS cloud platform that delivers the ultimate zoom-in on every aspect of a crop’s lifecycle.”
‘Desertech‘ writes about AKOlogic: “AKOLogic-AI Platform enables to follow food chain from “crop to consumer”. The analytical tools we have developed make it possible to link millions in different languages, sizes, settings, into one standard, which allows all the “players” in the chain to talk to each other. The system based on Microsoft’s cloud.”
The ‘Leadersglobe‘ quote the CEO Shani: “The AKOLogic database allows farmers to adhere to and comply with international norms and standards, like the GAP (Good Agricultural Practices) system instituted by the EU. Mr. Shani asserts, “In order to comply with GAP’s stringent requirements, an ‘ID card’ of sorts must be constructed for each crop that includes its entire history to date. The best way to achieve this is to use computerized information systems that enable not only control of all the processes, but also enable full and accurate documentation of all the growing, packaging and delivery stages.”
