Changing Middle East – Preliminary Thought I

The Middle East is undergoing a rapid transformation. Prime Minister Netanyahu has changed the face of the Middle East, as he announced after the genocidal attack by the Iranian terrorist organization Hamas on 7/10.

Hamas was and is financed and supported by the global left and its deep states, Turkey, Qatar, EU, the UN/UNRWA, and, as is becoming increasingly clear, Egypt and vast parts of trade unions, catholic churches, state subsidized “NGO”s, liberal media (CNN, MSNBC, NYT, WP, REUTERS et al.) and the European public broadcasters (BBC, ZDF, ORF et al)

And Israel is not finished yet. The “Palestinian” Authority (PA) and the Mullah regime itself are still on the list. The left-wing state elites of Europe have after the collapse of the Assad regime finally understood: A new Middle East is emerging.

They, the left elites of the deep states, know that there will be no “Palestinian” state on Israeli territory. An Israel which includes Judea, Samaria, all of Jerusalem, the entire Golan Heights with Mount Hermon and all of Jerusalem.

The left elites of the deep states of Europe also understand that they will soon have even less say when Donald J. Trump is sworn in as the 47th President of the USA on January 20th.

The most powerful man in the world is the sworn-in enemy of the deep states of the world. Enough to trigger panic among the deep-state elites of Europe.

But there is something more to note: Israel did come home to the American soul. Israel was, is and will be always part and parcel of the American soul, as can easily be seen from the government team that Trump has put together. It is the most pro-Israel US government the world has ever seen.

Some even say the US government is more pro-Israel than the Israeli government itself. Maybe. And the note is not just wittily pointed but carries some deep truth. Never walk away. You are not alone. Without Israel, the American soul suffers. Is alienated. Israel is the apple of the USA’s eye. Why? Because Israel is the apple of God’s eye.

Something difficult to understand in Europe. Neither culturally, emotionally nor historically. The closest comparison, and one that Putin can understand, is that Israel is what Serbia is to Russia. The eternal little brother who is forgiven for everything, indeed must be forgiven.

It has something to do with Constantinople, orthodox Christianity, and the Battle of Amselfeld (1389). A complex history, just hinted at, gave causality to the bond between Russia and Serbia.

Germany

For the USA, Israel is not just a matter of ‘reason of state’ (Raison d’État) as it is Israel for Germany and which can easily be negotiated away, if necessary as Germany’s political elite is currently doing. With those preliminary thoughts, we finally arrived in Europe, in Germany.

The break with the German ‘reason of state’, according to which Germany has to defend Israel, has already been relativized by Friedrich Merz, leader of the largest opposition party in Germany (CDU), as argued in this blog.

Now, let’s look again at Germany, which is without doubt the leading power in Europe; for the moment.

This time you have to analyze the recent post of Chancellor Scholz (SPD) on X about Syria with the backdrop of the many broken announcements to deliver weapons to Israel (which never happened), the soaring antisemitism within the SPD and the Green Party and the declining, shrinking economy of Germany.

He wrote: on X “Wir müssen die Lage in Syrien genau beobachten. Gemeinsam mit vielen anderen Ländern dürfen wir die Chance nicht verstreichen lassen, dass in dem Land eine Demokratie entsteht, dass Menschen unterschiedlicher Religionen friedlich zusammenleben. Darum geht es jetzt.“

For non-native speakers and those native speakers with rather poor expertise (or big lying mouths), everything sounds harmless, a little naive and silly, but harmless. But it is not. It is one of the many popular roles for German politicians: to play the fool.

However, this statement is a sign of deep hostility to Israel and cunning disguised as stupid and brazen naivety. The naive grinning fool. And notice, no word about Israel. No word about Germany’s ‘reason of state’ (‘Staatsräson’) to defend Israel. The omission is the message. To say what is meant by not-saying, by omission, is a classical political trick of Germany’s political echelon.

Now that an anti-Semitic, anti-democratic terrorist state called “Palestine” is dead and has to be put aside, as delineated above, the ‘new state’, the new hope that will permanently threaten Israel is an ’emerging’ Syria that is being lied about as an emerging ‘democracy’, a multicultural society.

Syria is for Germany, for Europe the new centre of the new concern in the new Middle East. And Israel, the obstacle, that bad guy. The (antisemitic) game is set according to the old rules. Israel is to blame.

An impossible, crazy, and disconnected dream. A bureaucratic dream. So big. You need billions over billions. A dream soon presented by the deep state elites as a dream worth pouring into billions of Euros and USD.

The woke left media like CNN and BBC are already whipping up this “narrative” aka propaganda lie. Soon the billions of left-wing woke governments’ tax money will flow towards Syria to finance a new hammer to destroy Israel.

UNRWA has a new field of activity: democracy in Syria and the operation of “Palestinian” refugee camps with those “Palestinians” that Syria generously takes in in return for generous donations. Subsequently, Syria builds up an army of “Palestinian” anti-Semites yearning to return home to “Palestine – From the River…”. The show must go on.

The current woke-left US administration has already announced that it will no longer list the Syrian terror organization ”HTS’ as a terrorist organization and Macron has announced in typical anti-Semitic tones that Israel must leave Syria now (meaning the Golan Heights).

And the European woke-left is already blaring that Turkey must now be strengthened as a new peace force in the Middle East. Friedrich Merz is one example. The German example.

The propaganda aka “narrative” ignites: Evil Israel is destroying this great opportunity by bombing the weapons of the “good jihadists” who only want a diverse, democratic society (the sarcasm of this sentence ends here. Said for the stupid and brazen with the big lying mouths).

The German Chancellor said so, Syria is at stake now. Only Syria. A democratic Syria. And see, Donald Trump and Israel are against democracy. The left-woke lie is ready to go.

All the perfect cues for European left-wing anti-Semitism are in place. Left-wing Europe is in antisemitic madness; again.
