In its sitting on Wednesday, the Knesset Plenum voted to approve the Government’s announcement regarding the addition of Members of Knesset Itamar Ben Gvir (Otzma Yehudit), Amichay Eliyahu (Otzma Yehudit) and Issac Wasserlauf (Otzma Yehudit) as ministers in the Government, in accordance with Section 15 of Basic Law: The Government.
In the vote, 65 MKs supported the approval of the announcement, versus 46 who opposed it.
Additionally, the Knesset Plenum approved the Government’s announcement regarding the appointment of MK Ben Gvir to the position of Minister of National Security, the appointment of MK Eliyahu to the position of Minister of Heritage, and the appointment of MK Wasserlauf as Minister of the Negev, Galilee and National Resilience – all replacing Minister Haim Katz, who had filled these positions in an acting capacity.
