The Iron Beam system represents a global technological and engineering breakthrough, expected to integrate into Israel’s multi-layered defence array as a complementary capability to the Iron Dome, David’s Sling, and Arrow air defence systems. 

Any missile or drone attack is thus not only efficiently but also cost-effectively repelled. Missile warfare quickly drains the enemy economically. The costs for one laser shot are calculated at 2 to 3 USD, and one shot with a rocket from the Iron Dome costs about 60.000 USD. Do the math.
