Twenty-two letters that collapse potentiality (‘Wirklichkeit’) into actualized reality. An ‘ontological’ algebra built from these twenty-two letters, grounded in the triad of space, time and life. When letters themselves become the program, OTS-22 opens new pathways for physics, artificial general intelligence and biology.
Imagine the 22 letters of the Hebrew alphabet not as mere script characters, but as living mathematical building blocks with which one can calculate, program, and even model reality. This is exactly what OTS-22 achieves: the Onto-Triadic 22-Letter Algebra. It transforms the ancient Kabbalistic understanding from the Sefer Yetzirah – that timeless text which states “With 22 letters HE created the world” – into a modern 22-dimensional hypercomplex, yet ‘ontological’ algebra over the real numbers.
Each of the 22 letters becomes an operator, comparable to the famous Pauli matrices of quantum mechanics, except that here 22 dimensions are available. These operators can be added and multiplied – yet multiplication follows its own rules. The algebra is non-associative: the order in which the operators are applied changes the result. Exactly as in real life or in a ritual the sequence is decisive, here context matters.
The 22 operators are divided into three groups that correspond to the triadic ontology of Space – Time – Life Continuum (STLC), suggested by me as a new frame to understand the Universe:
- The 3 Mothers (Aleph, Mem, Shin) – the Life-Operators. They are nilpotent: when one of them is applied three times in succession, it vanishes (Aleph³ = Mem³ = Shin³ = 0). This models a Life-induced Collapse – a transition from superposition states into concrete reality triggered by life or consciousness.
- The 7 Doubles (Bet, Gimel, Dalet, Kaf, Pe, Resh, Tav) – the Time-Operators. They carry duality and rhythm. Their multiplication table is exactly closed and generates anticommutators – like an inner beat that produces change and opposites.
- The 12 Simples (He, Vav, Zayin, Chet, Tet, Yod, Lamed, Nun, Samech, Ayin, Tzadi, Kof) – the Space-Operators. They stand for structure, form and extension. Their products are largely projective or Hermitian – they “form” and “see”.
Clear interaction rules exist between the groups: Life-Operators inject a Life-Charge into Time- or Space-Operators and thereby drive collapse forward. Time-Operators rhythmically modulate Space structures. Taken together, this yields a fully defined algebra from which its own programming language can be derived: OTS-QL (Onto-Triadic Sedenion Quantum Language). Every letter becomes a ‘primitive’ gate; sequences of letters become programs.
This is not science fiction but a consistent further development of hypercomplex algebras (quaternions, octonions, sedenions, pathions) – only that here the 22 letters and the triadic ontology of Space, Time and Life stand at the centre, and the algebra is deliberately oriented toward applicability in physics, technology and biology.
The Advantages of OTS-22 – An Overview
For Science and Physics
OTS-22 opens new pathways to model quantum collapse and higher-dimensional quantum processes. The nilpotent Life-Operators give the famous “collapse of the wave function” an ontological and “living” cause – not merely measurement, but conscious or biological interaction. This fits excellently with theories such as the Orch-OR hypothesis (Penrose-Hameroff), in which microtubules in the brain connect quantum processes and consciousness.
In addition, the algebra permits the simulation of Zeno effects: periodic “projections” (analogous to wearing tzitzit in the halachic rega rhythm) can protect coherence – a mechanism that is highly relevant in quantum biology and in the search for long-lived quantum states in warm, moist biological systems.
The explicit non-associativity supplies a mathematical model for why context and sequence play a genuine role in complex physical processes. In the long term, OTS-22 could help investigate resonances between letters (gematria) and fundamental constants (fine-structure constant, cosmological constant) more precisely and thereby strengthen bridges between so-called ‘mystical’ tradition and modern physics.
The complete specification of all 22 × 22 products – to be published in the forthcoming book ‘Die Kabbalah Formeln‘ – makes the algebra immediately usable for extensive computer-physical simulations and theoretical further developments.
For Technology and Quantum Computing
From OTS-22 one can directly derive the domain-specific quantum programming language OTS-QL. Each of the 22 letters becomes a gate on a hypothetical 22-dimensional quantum processor (with 22-dimensional quantum states instead of classical qubits). This opens entirely new architectures: topological quantum computers with higher-dimensional anyons or photonic systems that naturally support 22-dimensional states.
The nilpotent Life-Operators and the Zeno-projection mechanisms could lead to error-resistant designs – periodic “measurements” or projections suppress decoherence, precisely as in the theory of dynamical decoherence suppression.
Even more visionary are bio-quantum interfaces. If the human brain and body truly function as biological quantum computers, one could build devices that “speak” directly with these natural operators – for example implantable or wearable systems that technically amplify or measure mitzvah-like sequences or meditative states.
OTS-22 supplies the algebraic and programmatic foundation for this. The explicit interaction rules between Life-, Time- and Space-Operators (including the rhythmic modulation of Space structures by Time-Operators) render the language fully operational and simulable in common quantum frameworks.
For AGI – Artificial General Intelligence
Most current AI models are based on associative operations (as in artificial neural networks). OTS-22 deliberately introduces non-associativity: order and context change the result. This is an enormous advantage for AGI that aims to achieve human-like, context-sensitive and “living” thinking.
The Life-Operators with their nilpotent collapse function can serve as a mechanism for responsible, “ethical” or resonance-based decisions – decisions that are not merely statistically probable but ontologically attuned to “life” and context.
The letters themselves function as primitive, symbolic gates that can be elegantly connected with subsymbolic, quantum-physical processes. This builds a bridge between symbolic AI (logic, language) and subsymbolic, emergent intelligence.
In the frame of the Space-Time-Life Continuum, OTS-22 can help overcome Gödelian incompleteness limits through ontological resonance mechanisms and develop AGI that does not merely compute but “lives with” and acts in a Tikkun-oriented manner. The exactly proven non-associativity within the closed Life group supplies a mathematically rigorous foundation for this.
For Mathematics
OTS-22 is an original extension of the theory of hypercomplex numbers. While de Marrais’ pathions (32 dimensions) primarily explore the geometric patterns of zero-divisors and box-kites in 32 dimensions, OTS-22 focuses on the 22 foundation letters with an explicit triadic ontology of Space, Time and Life and nilpotent Life-Operators.
This supplies mathematics with new, rich examples of non-associative algebras with exactly provable non-associativity (already within the closed Life subgroup; the overall algebra inherits this property).
The 7 × 7 table of the Time-Operators generates quasigroup-like structures that are of great interest in pure algebra. The nilpotent elements of higher order and the scaled Life-Charge injection between the groups open new questions concerning zero-divisors, projectors and dissipative structures in 22 dimensions.
The algebra as fully specified in the book ‘Die Kabbalah Formeln’ – all 22 × 22 products are defined by explicit rules, including the rhythmic modulation between Time- and Space-Operators – is excellently suited for computer-algebraic investigations, simulations in quantum frameworks and theoretical further developments. A fertile field arises between algebraic geometry, quantum information theory and ontologically inspired mathematics based on ontology and philosophical spiritualism (Kabbalah).
For Biology and Consciousness
Here perhaps lies the most revolutionary potential. OTS-22 consistently models the human brain and body as a biological quantum computer. The 22 letter-operators literally run on this “hardware”. DNA is understood as a fractal solenoid antenna and holographic storage device, tzitzit as a wearable Zeno antenna that generates periodic projections and protects coherence. Mitzvot, prayer, meditation and Torah study with gematria awareness become “code inputs” that activate Life-Operators and trigger targeted collapses in biological quantum processes.
This opens entirely new explanatory approaches for consciousness, healing and the intentional alteration of probabilities. The Life-induced Collapse through the nilpotent Mothers gives the ancient Kabbalistic idea of creation through language a precise quantum-biological form.
Practically, this could lead to new therapeutic approaches: targeted sequences of letter-operators (for example through sound, visualisation or ritual actions) that modulate biological quantum processes – from refuah shlema to expanded states of consciousness.
Non-associativity explains why the exact sequence and inner attitude (kavana) in Jewish ritual can and actually have a real effect.
A Bridge Between Worlds
The advantages of OTS-22 range from new models of quantum collapse, through more error-resistant quantum technologies and context-sensitive, ethically resonant AGI, to a mathematically founded quantum biology of consciousness.
The conscious use of the triadic categories Space, Time and Life makes the algebra more easily accessible for international scientific and educational contexts and underscores its character as a bridge – between the world of spirituality and science as elaborated in the article ‘Formula of Anderwo” in which I suggested:
“The four classical levels of Torah interpretation are called PaRDeS (פַּרְדֵּס – “Pardes”) and form the heart of Jewish hermeneutics:
- Peschat (פְּשָׁט) – the literal, simple sense. The direct, historical, and grammatical meaning of the text.
- Remes (רֶמֶז) – the allegorical, hinted sense. Philosophical, symbolic, or hidden allusions (e.g., numerical values, Gematria).
- Derasch (דְּרַשׁ) – the interpretive, homiletical sense. The moral, rabbinic, and application-oriented interpretation (Midrash, Talmud).
- Sod (סוֹד) – the secret, mystical, deep sense. The kabbalistic level – the inner structure of light, the Sefirot, and the hidden sparks.
Finally, I propose/suggest a fifth level of interpretation: the scientific sense (spiritual realism), which interprets the words of the Torah against the background of nature – understood holistically and comprehensively – and of humanity’s insights into nature. I call it the Da’at (דַּעַת).”
OTS-22 is more than a new algebra. It is a coherent framework that connects the ancient Kabbalistic insight that letters act creatively with the most precise tools of modern mathematics, quantum physics and philosophy. It supplies both a hypothetical programming language for future quantum computers and an operational language for the biological quantum system of the human being itself. OTS-22 does not replace science with ill-footed mysticism. It offers a mathematically rigorous bridge on which both can meet.
The result is non-associative. Order matters. Context changes the outcome — exactly as sequence and intention (kavana) determine the effect of sacred action. From this algebra arises OTS-QL, a domain-specific quantum programming language in which each letter becomes a primitive gate. Sequences of letters become executable programs.
It hopefully invites interdisciplinary research – from theoretical physicists and mathematicians, through quantum engineers and AI researchers, to quantum biologists, practising Kabbalists and philosophers.
